Applied on the surface of the tiles, Cara’protect ensures a protection while applying the joints thanks to its oily formula. Important: Do not wait more than 4 to 6 hours to apply the joints. (See direction for use)
The product is to be applied exclusively on the “carreaux à l’ancienne” tiles
Ready to use.
Polish the tiles with a CARA’PROTECT solution soaked rag 48 hours after the laying. This action will form a protective film which will avoid the adhesive sticking to the flagstones surface. Wait for 2 to 4 hours for a complete penetration of the treatment. Do not wait for more than 4 to 6 hours to apply the joints. The tiles surface must remain slightly oily to make the cleaning easier, with clear water. Clean the flagstones with a moisten sponge as and when the work progresses to eliminate adhesive stains. Rinse the sponge regularly with fresh water in order not to leave a cement film on the flagstones. Warning! Avoid using excess CARA’PROTECT on the flagstone’s slab as it may go into the joints and stop them from sticking.
Exterior laying: For outdoor surfaces, use the DALL’FUG instead of CARA’PROTECT on the whole flagstones before applying the joints.
